Massive Update

This update celebrates 10 years of NZBClient, thanks to all the amazing users who have supported this app over the last decade.

A lot of the code in the app is 10 years or older so this year I'm working on a complete re-write of the app to modernise it and add more features.

This update is also designed from the ground up to work with the new NZBGet.com, the new actively maintained version of NZBGet.

This update is the first step in that journey. This is a big update and it may cause some issues (like changing a car tyre while driving down the highway), so please report any issues or feedback to me via the contact form on the website so I can get them fixed ASAP.

Pro and Ultra Changes

Part of this update is changing how Pro and Ultra features are locked behind a paywall. There were a lot of basic features of the app that required Pro or Ultra to use, and this was too restrictive.

I've changed the policy for what is locked behind the paywall. Now, any feature that is in the NZBGet web interface will be available in the app for all users, and only additional features that are exclusive to this app will be for Pro or Ultra users.

What's New

All New History

This update has a complete re-write of the history and history details page. It's designed to mirror more closely the NZBGet web interface, with a bunch of improvements.

Improved Searching and Filtering

The new history page has improved searching and filtering of downloads, making it easier to find and edit items in your history.

AI Error Summaries

When viewing a history item that has failed for some reason, the app will use Apple's Foundation AI model to summarise the error logs so you can quickly see what the issue was (only available for devices that support Apple Intelligence and Pro or Ultra users).

Suggestions

When renaming or setting a dupe key, the app will now give you quick suggestions for the best name or key.

Logs

Improved log browsing including filtering and searching.

Files

Files now has an NZB Inspector that allows you to inspect all aspects of the NZB, including where it was downloaded from (if available) and NZB comments.

Servers

There is an all new server details page so you can inspect all aspects of your NZBGet server including disk space, news servers, system info and logs.

NZBGet Version Tracking

When viewing your NZBGet details, the app will alert you to new versions and show you the release notes. Ultra users will get push notifications for all new NZBGet versions.

Adding & Editing NZBGet Servers

All new adding and editing NZBGet servers page, that makes it easier to add new servers with improved error handling.

Custom Headers

You can now set custom headers for servers. This is useful when using reverse proxies and you want to set custom auth headers.

Bug Fixes

There are a bunch of bug fixes and security improvements in the app.
